Survival with a bushcraft knife
Survival, bushcraft knife. 180mm blade, 8mm spine at the antler, tapered to the point and tapered to the pommel. Designed for chopping and batoning. The blade has 2 bevels, second bevel to the cutting edge is convex for strength.
Hand forged from a piece of carbon steel out of a lumber mill saw blade.
Sandalwood scales and antler held with stainless steel pins screwed in.
A tough spine for batoning
A saw tooth welded to the tang is a steel pommel for breaking, smashing and hammering in nails and prying. The full tang has been tapered and hollow ground for balance.
Spalted Apple Wood
Spalted apple wood scales, steel hammering pommel.
The smaller 3” D2 steel blade has moose antler and a brass finger guard.
