Handmade Timber Framing Chisels and Slick
Timber framing hand tools with apple wood handles wrapped in a bit of buck skin. 20” long overall. 3 framing chisels and a framing slick. 28 overall. Handmade, hand forged hand tools from tough lumber mill carbon steel head saw blade, hardened and differentially tempered.
Timber Framing Chisels (full tang) Heavy duty, full tang, 18 inch chisels with steel 5/16” tops welded to the tangs. This set has osage orange scales.
Adze and Hook Knife 2” edge carving adze, 3” double bevelled hook knife with a cherry wood handle.
Log Building Tools, Hand Made, Hand Forged draw knife has a 1/2 inch thick spring steel, 4 inch edge and 4 1/2 inch full tang apple wood scales handles and a custom made log construction chisel with a 1 inch wide by 6 inch long blade.

Log Home Building Hand Tools, Slicks Carvers and log home builders. 8” wide and 2 sharp flared points. The blade is 8.5” long. Overall it is 32.5” . Forged high carbon steel blade from a 6’ diameter head saw blade. Hardened and differentially tempered, blending tempers.
Woodcarving Slick A 2 1/2 inch edge carver’s slick. Set 4 inches into a mahogany handle with a copper ferrule. The slick head is slightly curved and cupped reminiscent of a woodcarving bowl adze.
Carving Slick 2 1/2” edge, 9” long blade. 28” inches overall. We wrap a bit of leather on the handle for grip. The edge width, shape and angle, handle length and width are optional.
Hand Forged Carving Knife and Adze
Forged 1/4 inch lumber mill saw blade steel. Double beveled 6 inch knife blade. The hand forged adze has a 2 inch edge. Both have apple wood handles.
