Handmade Cleavers

Cleaver and kitchen knife. Long 6 inch handles, moose antler scales lined with juniper wood. Forged carbon sawblade steel. The cleaver sits in a spruce burl block.

¼ inch spine, 8 inch edge. Hand forged carbon steel sawblade.

We make the meat cleaver for heavy duty use. 1/4 spine, forged from high carbon lumber mill saw blade steel, the saw teeth on the spine makes for a great meat tenderizer.

7 1/2 inches of edge, 6 inch handle and your choice of antler or wood handle.

We harden with clay and glass protecting the spine and body. With subtle manipulations we create images in the patina of boreal forest wetlands were we live. The patinas help protect the carbon steel from rust.

We offer handmade leather sheaths or apple knot wood blocks included with the Saw Tooth Cleavers.
