Handmade Fillet Knives. Ulu and Crown Fillet
A 7 1/2” high carbon/ cobalt steel blade. Set into a mule deer crown. The tang is set, pinned and peened into the antler. A thin 1.4mm blade and flexible. No waste. The heavy duty fillet ulu knife was made from recovered carbon mill saw blade steel. 1/4” stem and a 3/16” blade with a wide bevel. Moose antler scales.
Both keep sharp edges. We manipulate and leave the patinas on the blade to help with rust protection.
Custom Slicing Knife

19 mm long blade, carbon steel with a cobalt content, 1.5 mm thick. Hardened and differentially tempered. 4 inch antler crown handle. The knife is excellent as a bread knife, slicing meat, tomatoes and wild mushrooms

Handmade Fillet Knife Guard and Antler Handle
We left the saw teeth on the spine of the fillet knife. The brass guard is pinned to the tang. The tang travels 2/3rds into the handle and is held with 2 stainless steel pins, peened.
Flexible and Strong Fillet Knife
Easy to sharpen. Thin and carbon steel. You can get a very sharp edge. The differential temper makes the thin blade tough and strong.
Handmade Fillet Knife Sheathed
in its custom 8 oz leather, hand sewn, saddle stitched, scabbard. A welt runs down the edge side protecting the stitch from the edge.
